Resources for State and County DataIf you are interested in developing a profile on the status of women in your county, you can start by using the model developed by the Institute for Women's Policy Research in Washington, DC, called "The Status of Women in Your County: A Community Resource Tool." This gives you a step-by-step guide in how to gather and analyze the data. WomenVote PA initially used this tool in the beginning stages of collecting data for the 30 county profiles, however, we immediately realized we wanted to include additional areas of concern, such as the number of "Protection From Abuse" orders filed and issued in the counties, as well as the Quality of Public Education to name a few.
