Overview: Status of Women in Pennsylvania

Over the past year, WomenVote PA has been collecting data to show the status of women in 30 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties. The current scope of the project includes looking at women's employment and earnings, health and well-being, violence against women, reproductive health, educational attainment, quality of public education, and women's political participation. We have completed much of the data gathering, and we will soon be posting the information that we have to this web site.

Before the end of the year, WVPA will post for each of the 30 counties a one-page summary including highlights along with the individual data sheets. Additionally we are in the process of developing an Executive Summary which analyzes the data from all 30 counties and ranks the counties within each category. So check back for updates.
